The latest crypto market rebound appears less reliant on leverage than in past rallies, creating conditions for the uptrend to continue, Mizuho analyst Dan Dolev said, according to Investing.com. Dolev said coin-denominated open interest fell to its lowest level in a month after the initial rebound and has not risen again, indicating the advance is being driven by spot and ETF demand rather than a short squeeze or leveraged longs.
Bitcoin spot ETFs saw about $1.9 billion in net inflows over the past week, marking the largest weekly net inflow since October 2025. Dolev also said retail trading volumes remain sharply subdued at a three-year low, which could provide further upside momentum if trading activity revives.
