Bitcoin and Ethereum Analysis: Aaron Dishner’s August 25 Outlook

In his August 25 analysis, Aaron Dishner, co-founder and lead instructor at The Better Traders, Inc., separates short-term and long-term timeframes for Bitcoin. He expects a pullback in the daily chart but maintains a bullish outlook on weekly and macro levels. According to the source, Dishner sees a daily bearish divergence with higher highs in price against lower highs in the RSI, suggesting a pullback to the daily TBO Fast line is likely. He advises waiting for a reversal confirmation before shorting, as the OBV remains bullish and the white MA line is rising.

Dishner does not anticipate a massive bearish reversal even if Bitcoin tests historical support. He assigns only a 30% probability to the bear-flag pattern, which has a measured projection of $50,000, and notes that a close inside the parallel channel would invalidate it. Weekly charts show Bitcoin well inside the Cloud in bullish consolidation, with confirmed overbought RSI and bullish OBV, supporting a buy-the-dip strategy.

For Ethereum, Dishner sees strong bullish daily indicators and a bullish weekly chart. He expects a pullback to the weekly Fast line around $2,000, which he would treat as a buying opportunity. A drop below $1,500 is not his standalone thesis but is conditional on Bitcoin confirming its bear flag through rejection at historical support.

Regarding altcoins, Dishner believes it is time to start building positions and using DCA bots to accumulate, despite the possibility of a major pullback. On the TOTAL3ESBTC ratio, he views 0.35 as frothy and near a short-term top, while 0.5 would most certainly be a rally top, and anything above 0.50 would be an insane rally. These are chart-ratio levels, not spot-price targets.

Dishner also comments on traditional finance, noting S&P Futures and the SPX spot chart are in bearish consolidation inside the Cloud, but he is not worried and treats pullbacks as dip-buy opportunities. The DJI has moved back above the Cloud, NDX is working toward its lower gap, and a move below the Cloud in NVDA would be a major buy-the-dip opportunity. He keeps these states distinct rather than calling every index strong bullish.
