Gemini and Apex LOI
Gemini Space Station and Apex Fintech Solutions signed a letter of intent under which Gemini Titan would become the exclusive regulated venue for crypto event contracts distributed through Apex’s Futures Commission Merchant to Apex’s brokerage customers.
“Today, Gemini Space Station, Inc. (“Gemini”) and Apex Fintech Solutions Inc. (“Apex”) announced they have signed a letter of intent”

The companies said brokerages offering crypto event contracts through Apex’s FCM would use Gemini for execution and clearing, positioning Gemini as the regulated venue for crypto-based predictions markets accessed through Apex.
Gemini’s Tyler Winklevoss framed the move as an in-house build, saying, “We deliberately chose to build our predictions platform in-house.”
Apex’s Travis McGhee described the partnership as a bridge to regulated access, saying, “Our brokerage clients get regulated access to crypto event contracts without having to build the plumbing themselves.”
Regulatory buildout
The proposed exclusivity is tied to Gemini’s existing CFTC licensing, with Gemini Titan holding a Designated Contract Market license granted in December 2025 and Gemini Olympus holding a CFTC Derivatives Clearing Organization license obtained in April.
Marketscreener said the April DCO approval brings derivatives clearing and settlement for Gemini Titan in-house, while the December 2025 DCM license enabled Gemini to launch predictions trading.
Gemini’s regulatory milestones also underpin the operational scope of the Apex arrangement, because the companies said brokerages would route execution and clearing of crypto event contracts to Gemini under the alliance.
In the same announcement, Gemini and Apex said the collaboration remains subject to final terms and that they look forward to finalizing details in the coming weeks.
What changes next
If finalized, the Gemini-Apex structure would let brokerages connected through Apex’s FCM offer crypto event contracts without building their own execution and clearing setup, with Gemini Titan serving as the exclusive regulated venue for those crypto contracts.
“Beyond crypto, Gemini affords Apex the flexibility to collaborate on additional contract categories, including sports, economics, and financial markets, on a non-exclusive basis.”

The companies said the exclusivity would apply to crypto event contracts distributed through Apex’s FCM, while other categories such as sports, economics, and financial markets would be handled on a non-exclusive basis.
The deal also extends an existing relationship between the firms, with the announcement noting that in July Gemini launched stock trading with 0% commissions for certain U.S. customers using Apex Clearing Corporation as custodian and clearing broker.
Apex and Gemini said the arrangement is designed to give brokerage customers regulated access to crypto event contracts while avoiding the need for brokers to build direct exchange connectivity and separate plumbing.
