Wallets linked to the team behind the Official Trump memecoin have again moved millions of dollars out of the token’s liquidity pools as TRUMP rallies alongside renewed optimism across the crypto market.
On-chain analyst Lookonchain reported that a wallet associated with the TRUMP team removed $3.39 million in USDC from a liquidity pool within around 10 hours.
The withdrawal came as TRUMP gained momentum during a broader crypto market rally, with traders linking part of the renewed interest to President Donald Trump’s recent comments about the possibility of the U.S. expanding its Bitcoin and crypto holdings.
How the TRUMP liquidity strategy works
The TRUMP team does not necessarily sell its tokens directly on the open market.
Instead, wallets linked to the project have used single-sided liquidity positions on Meteora, a decentralized exchange built on Solana.
According to the mechanism highlighted by Lookonchain, the wallet deposits TRUMP tokens into a liquidity position within a specific price range. As traders buy and sell against the pool, part of the TRUMP supply can gradually be converted into USDC.
The wallet can then withdraw the accumulated USDC and move it elsewhere.
According to Lookonchain’s on-chain analysis, the latest activity involved the removal of $3.39 million in USDC during the recent rally.
This approach differs from simply sending a large amount of TRUMP tokens to an exchange and selling them directly on the market. However, it can still result in value being extracted from the liquidity pool as trading activity converts TRUMP into USDC.
TRUMP rally follows broader crypto optimism
The latest liquidity withdrawal happened as the broader crypto market experienced a strong recovery.
Bitcoin’s rally above $75,000 and its subsequent push toward $80,000 helped improve sentiment across the market, while a large short squeeze and renewed institutional demand added further momentum.
Trump’s comments at the recent White House crypto summit also contributed to the broader optimism surrounding the industry.

This is not the first major liquidity withdrawal
The latest transaction appears to follow a pattern that has been observed before.
Lookonchain previously reported similar activity in April 2025, when wallets associated with the TRUMP team removed approximately $4.6 million in USDC from a liquidity pool. The funds were later bridged to <a href="https://xpertsstudio.com/tom-lee-says-ethereum-could-top-10000-as-bitmine-nears-5-of-all-eth/” title=”Tom Lee Says Ethereum Could Top $10,000 as Bitmine Nears 5% of All ETH”>Ethereum and deposited into Coinbase Prime.

The scale of the activity increased later that year.
The latest $3.39 million withdrawal is smaller than those previous figures, but it shows that the liquidity strategy remains active.
What does removing liquidity mean for TRUMP holders?
A liquidity withdrawal does not automatically mean that the TRUMP price will crash.
The immediate impact depends on several factors, including the remaining liquidity in the pool, trading demand and overall market conditions.
However, reducing available liquidity can make a token more sensitive to large trades. A thinner pool may result in sharper price movements in either direction.
This becomes particularly important for a memecoin such as TRUMP, where price momentum can be heavily influenced by news surrounding Donald Trump, political developments and broader crypto market sentiment.
The team is also expected to unlock and potentially deploy up to 96 million additional TRUMP tokens from its available supply in the coming months, creating another factor that traders may watch closely.
The bigger question for TRUMP
The latest $3.39 million USDC withdrawal may not be large enough on its own to determine the direction of TRUMP’s price.
However, the repeated pattern of adding TRUMP liquidity, allowing market activity to convert tokens into USDC and later withdrawing those funds remains important for traders to monitor.
The bigger question is whether wallets linked to the team will continue using this strategy whenever major Trump-related news creates fresh demand for the token.
For now, the latest rally has once again placed both TRUMP’s price action and its on-chain liquidity movements under the spotlight.
