    CoinMarketCap’s altcoin season index stood at 41. The index compares the price performance of Bitcoin with that of the top 100 coins by market capitalization, excluding stablecoins and wrapped coins. A period is classified as altcoin season when 75% of the top 100 coins outperform Bitcoin over the past 90 days, and as Bitcoin season in the opposite case. A reading closer to 100 indicates stronger altcoin season conditions.
