- Weekly inflows into bitcoin ETFs totaled $1.92 billion — a record for 2026.
- Ethereum ETFs took in $697.18 million, also setting a new year-to-date inflow high.
- The largest inflows among individual funds went to BlackRock’s IBIT and BlackRock’s ETHA.
From August 17 to August 21, 2026, spot bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the US collectively brought in $2.62 billion Both segments posted their best result of the year, pointing to stronger investor demand for crypto exchange-traded products
Bitcoin ETFs Pulled In Nearly $2 Billion
Over the week, inflows into spot bitcoin ETFs totaled $1.92 billion. Capital came in across all five trading sessions:
- August 17 — $297.56 million
- August 18 — $189.30 million
- August 19 — $517.19 million
- August 20 — $606.29 million
- August 21 — $307.45 million

The biggest inflows went to BlackRock’s IBIT — $1.33 billion. Next were Fidelity’s FBTC with $293.16 million and ARK Invest/21Shares’ ARKB with $126.84 million.
Positive results were also posted by:
- Bitwise’s BITB — $87.34 million
- Grayscale’s BTC — $36.13 million
- Morgan Stanley’s MSBT — $28.95 million
Meanwhile, VanEck’s HODL recorded outflows of $16.15 million, while BRRR and BTCW ended the period with no capital movement.
Ethereum ETFs Also Set a New Year-to-Date High
Spot Ethereum ETFs pulled in $697.18 million over the week. Inflows increased for most of the period:
- August 17 — $30.85 million
- August 18 — $71.47 million
- August 19 — $189.15 million
- August 20 — $220.77 million
- August 21 — $184.93 million

The leader was BlackRock’s ETHA, with $536.83 million in inflows. Much smaller amounts went to Grayscale’s ETH — $30.26 million, Fidelity’s FETH — $56.22 million, and ETHB — $55.56 million.
Among other crypto ETFs, the following posted positive flows:
At the same time, BNB-ETF recorded $0.26 million in outflows, while LTC and DOT ETFs ended the period with no capital movement.
Recall that the week before (August 10–14), spot bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs saw capital outflows of more than $390 million.
