Fourth Edition Adds a Dedicated Day for Banks and Financial Institutions
Taipei, Taiwan – August 22, 2026 – ETHTaipei 2026, Taiwan’s annual Ethereum developer conference, will take place September 13-14 at POPOP Taipei. Now in its fourth edition, the event introduces a two-day format: Cryptonative Day on September 13 for the Ethereum builder community, and Institution Day on September 14 for banks and financial institutions. The program spans core protocol research and onchain finance through custody, real-world assets (RWA), and institutional applications.
“Crypto is meeting the real world, and what makes that possible is the research and engineering behind it. That is the core of ETHTaipei 2026,” said Martinet of the ETHTaipei organizing team.
First-wave speakers announced
The event will feature speakers from leading international projects, including Polymarket (global prediction market), Uniswap (decentralized exchange protocol), the Ethereum Foundation, ChainSafe (blockchain infrastructure), LINE NEXT, CertiK (blockchain security), OneSavie Labs, Quantstamp (smart-contract auditing), Across Protocol (cross-chain protocol), and PIF12. These teams will cover protocol research, DeFi, security, interoperability, and consumer applications. Additional speakers will be announced.
From core protocol to institutional finance
Cryptonative Day will cover protocol and core development, Layer 2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy, wallets and account abstraction, DeFi, consumer and social applications, security, and developer tooling. Institution Day is planned around institutional wallets and custody, digital asset and smart-contract security, stablecoin risk management, RWA and tokenized U.S. equities, machine finance driven by AI agents, and chain selection for financial institutions. BSOS, DADRC, Sigmarket, and TS Holdings among supporting organizations
ETHTaipei 2026 is supported by companies and institutions across the ecosystem. Gold sponsors include enterprise blockchain and supply-chain finance team BSOS, the Digital Asset Development Research Center (DADRC), and decentralized prediction market Sigmarket. Silver sponsors include TS Holdings, smart-contract security firm Quantstamp, and KlickKlack. The program also connects Taiwan and Asia’s Ethereum communities, university blockchain clubs, and media partners.

ETHTaipei is a community-driven event, spawned from the desire of connecting the Taiwan/Asia community with teams globally on a deep technical level. Since the first edition in 2023, ETHTaipei has attracted more than 3,000 participants, 169 speakers, 129 talks, and 70+ side events, underscoring its growing influence and commitment to advancing the Ethereum ecosystem in Asia.
