HF Markets
(HFM) has appointed
Ahmad Qutaishat as Senior Business Development Manager, marking another
senior-level hire for the brokerage as it continues to expand its regional
operations. Qutaishat joins HFM after serving as Vice President of Sales at
ATFX MENA for nearly one year.
HFM Appoints Ahmad
Qutaishat as Senior Business Development Manager
Qutaishat
brings more than six years of financial services experience to his new role at
HFM. He has worked his way up through senior positions at several brokerages
across the Middle East and North Africa, building expertise in institutional
sales and digital assets along the way.
The hire
adds depth to HFM’s business development operations as the firm looks to expand
its presence in the region. Prior to his role at ATFX MENA, where he held the
Vice President Sales position from June 2024 to May 2025, Qutaishat served as
Director at VT Markets for five months. His most extensive tenure was with
Equiti Group, where he spent over five years in various capacities, culminating
in a Sales Vice President role.
“I’m happy
to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior Business Development
Manager at HFM,” Qutaishat commented. “I am a strong believer in the power of
knowledge, as professional growth is fueled by continuous learning. Especially
in the ever changing world of trading.”
Another
Executive Appointment
Qutaishat’s
arrival at HFM marks another leadership change at the company in recent months.
In February, HFM appointed former
Hantec Markets executive Hayel Abu-Hamdan as Chief Commercial Officer.
Abu-Hamdan brings extensive experience in the forex industry, having previously
worked with firms such as HiFX, MIG Investments SA, and Rosenthal Collins
Group.
“At HFM, I
will lead our commercial strategy, refine products, enhance customer support,
and drive the next phase of global success,” he explained. “It’s an honor to
join a company known for its innovation and excellence, and I look forward to
working with the exceptionally talented team to expand into new markets and
deliver greater value to our clients.”
Separately,
Hantec Markets promoted
Michael O’Sullivan to Chief Technology Officer last year. Previously Head
of Technology Strategy, O’Sullivan has held senior roles at several financial
firms, including Infinox Global, ATFX UK, and CMC Markets.
